Come, come, whoever you are Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving It doesn’t matter Ours is not a caravan of despair Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times Come, yet again, come, come

We are, each one of us, doing the best we can in any given moment. Sometimes, we act in ways that don't align with our truth and that is part of our growth and opportunity. It is also part of our humanity. Learning to be compassionate with ourselves when we perceive that we've "fallen short," is very healing. I like to do this through forgiveness or love and acceptance work.
Forgiveness is like a healing balm. Each night before I go to sleep, I like to clear myself and my day with these three simple forgiveness statements. Even though I may not be aware of ways I've judged myself or others or even the way things are in the world, on some level, I am sure I have. I sleep much better knowing I have let it go.

I forgive myself for forgetting to love and accept all aspects of myself.
I forgive myself for forgetting to love and accept all aspects of others.
I forgive myself for forgetting to love and accept all aspects of this world.
I forgive myself for forgetting that my truest identity is Soul and that all the roles I play in this world are expressions of my loving.
I forgive and release any action that was put into motion through anything other than loving.
I forgive myself for forgetting that I am a child of God (Source, Love, All That Is, Allah, Christ, Buddha....whatever works for you)
